We are seeking a friendly and efficient Back Waiter and Food Runner to join our upscale dining team. This role is essential in delivering exceptional guest experiences by ensuring timely food service, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting the front-of-house operations. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for detail in a fast-paced dining environment.
Qualifications
- Previous work in a restaurant
- Enjoy people of all ages
- Able to stand for a minimum of 6 hours or more per shift and stairs, we have them
- Must be able to at least work weekends, nights and able to lift 30 pounds
- Knowledge of food handling, sanitation standards, and food safety protocols
- Flexibility to work nights and weekends as required; previous host/hostess experience is advantageous
- 18 & up | 25-40hrs /week | 4-5 shifts week between 11 am – 10 pm
Responsibilities
- Appear ready for work in uniform, ready to greet guests ahead of schedule
- TOAST & RESY experience a plus
- Communicate with management & staff any needs, changes, & maintenance needs
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently with people at all levels across the company
- Receive direction & constructive criticism well, with a desire to improve and grow
- Assist servers by delivering food promptly from the kitchen to guests' tables, ensuring accuracy and presentation
- Clear and reset tables efficiently to maintain a clean and inviting dining area
- Support the front-of-house team with table maintenance, refilling water, and attending to guest needs as required
- Maintain knowledge of menu items while handling food safely following sanitation protocols
- Uphold highest standards of customer service, guest relations, and hospitality throughout each shift
- Support kitchen staff with basic food preparation or bussing tasks when needed
Compensation / Benefits
- Pay : $10 / hour plus tips (Roughly $19-21/hour) Pooled tips with all non Management
- Closed Tuesday, Wednesday and major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s)
