Part-time position 25-30 hours
Administrative tasks
Perform medical assistant specific tasks
Perform receptionist tasks
Greets patients and prepares patients as needed to move patient through their office appointment.
Looking for a person with an upbeat personality that can work well with a variety of people

Hours are Monday thru Friday - No weekends

Experience:

Customer service
Medical Assistant
Computer skills (Required)
Medical office experience will be considered in leu of certification
Familiarity with commonly prescribed medications (Preferred)

High school or equivalent

Clinical Duties:

Primary Care office with 5 providers looking for a motivated medical assistant. Experience with Athena EHR a plus. Job requirements include intaking and checking out patients, obtaining patient health history and vitals, documenting in EHR, answering phones and relaying messaging to providers and patients, triaging messages for prescriptions and appointment requests. Skill set must include ability to vital patients, assist with procedures, give immunizations, and perform EKG's, hearing tests, and PFT's (training part of orientation). We need a team member who is able to communicate well with the public and other members in the office. Downtime will be utilized to prep charts and convert data from previous EHR.

Job Type: Part-time

Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week
