Job Summary
We are looking for a Warehouse / Yard worker / Forklift operator. This position involves physically lifting 60+ pounds at times, loading and unloading trucks of customers and materials that we receive, and having great customer service, relations, and integrity. We deal primarily in heavy duty construction materials revolving around concrete. This position requires that you be here precisely by 6:30 AM as this is the time we open up and when our rush is. Warehouse/Yard worker is responsible for gathering and loading materials on customer's trucks either by hand or with the use of a forklift. Forklift experience is not required but is recommended.
Responsibilities
- Operate various vehicles for storage or removal of materials
- Prepare products and materials for shipment
- Load, unload, and stage products and materials
- Track and record units of materials handled
- Adhere to safety policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Experience in general labor, construction, or other related fields
- Familiarity with pallet jacks, forklifts, or other industrial vehicles
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Strong work ethic
- Great customer service
- Able to perform tasks as a team as well on your own
- Must be able to carry 60+ pounds
