Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, and relay them efficiently to the kitchen
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation
- Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering duties, including cash handling and basic math calculations
- Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and supporting kitchen sanitation efforts
- Use reservation management tools like OpenTable to coordinate seating arrangements and manage guest flow
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for efficient order processing and reservations management
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that fosters guest relations
- Ability to multitask effectively with strong time management skills during busy hours
- Knowledge of food handling, sanitation standards, and food safety protocols
- Culinary experience or kitchen background is a plus for understanding food preparation and presentation
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and ensuring seamless service delivery
