Duties
- Prepare and serve a wide selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, providing excellent customer service that enhances their overall experience.
- Manage Toast POS system to process orders accurately and efficiently while handling cash transactions responsibly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety standards and proper food and beverage handling procedures.
- Monitor guest behavior to promote a safe environment, especially in nightclub or banquet settings, while managing multiple tables or bar stations simultaneously.
- Upsell drinks and promote specials to increase sales while building rapport with regular patrons.
- Assist with catering events or banquets as needed, ensuring smooth service from setup to cleanup.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining, nightclub, or banquet environments; retail math skills are a plus for handling cash and sales transactions.
- Familiarity with Toast POS system is highly desirable.
- Strong time management skills to handle busy shifts efficiently without compromising service quality.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service practices.
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and sales calculations.
- Previous restaurant experience or food industry background preferred; experience in brewing or catering is a bonus.
