Caboose is not your typical brewery. Our philosophy is to offer fresh, well-crafted beer as well as thoughtful, elevated food. Our brewpub is a little off the beaten path in an industrial section of downtown Vienna, located right off the W&OD trail. We are open Mon-Thu for dinner and Fri-Sun for lunch/brunch and dinner. LINE COOK
- Prepare basic components of each dish on our menu using recipes created by the Executive Chef.
- Produce high quality plates in a consistent and timely manner.
- Manage all aspects of your work station to include mise en place, cooking methods, portions, plating, safety and cleanliness.
- Ensure that the kitchen, all food prep areas and all food storage areas meet restaurant cleaning standards.
- Prep ingredients and seasoning as directed by the Executive Chef to support recipes, including cleaning, chopping and basic cooking.
- Monitor product freshness, label and stock all ingredients in a clean, organized and easily accessible fashion.
- Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, taking out trash etc.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must live in the Washington, DC metro area
- Must be able to work evenings and/or weekends

- Prefer minimum one year experience in a similar role
