General Manager – Café / Gelato Shop

Job Summary
Pitango Gelato is hiring General Managers for two locations — Reston Town Center (VA) and 14th Street (Washington, DC).
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can run day-to-day operations, lead a team, and deliver strong hospitality in a fast-paced café environment. We are looking for operators who take ownership, solve problems, and hold high standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the café
- Lead, train, and develop a high-performing team
- Deliver excellent guest experience and hospitality
- Manage labor, scheduling, and staffing
- Control COGS and ordering
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and product quality standards
- Troubleshoot POS, equipment, and day-to-day issues
Qualifications
- 2+ years of management experience in food service or hospitality
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Organized, accountable, and solution-oriented
- Weekend and evening availability required
Compensation & Benefits
- $50,000 – $60,000 salary (based on experience)

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,500.00 per year
