Maintenance Position for a Busy Apartment Community (Calvert County)
Job Summary: A reliable Maintenance Technician is needed to maintain a busy apartment community. Valid Driver’s License is a must. This employee will be responsible for completing a variety of tasks such as: plumbing, electrical and apartment turnovers. This is an “On Call” position. Duties/Responsibilities:
● Conducts the day-to day operations of the maintenance department
● Basic use of carpentry skills, drywall repair, plumbing, electrical and HVAC to complete tasks
● Completes service requests, make readies and assigned projects on time, to specifications, and with accuracy and efficiency
● Ensures maintenance and repair work is completed correctly and in a timely manner
● Communicates and collaborates with office staff to provide updates regarding make readies and service request, etc.
● Ensures compliance with federal, state, local, industry, contractual, and company regulations, standards, specifications, and best practices
● Trouble-shooting appliances
● Performs other related duties as assigned

Education and Experience:
● High School diploma or equivalent required
● At least one year of maintenance experience required
Physical Requirements:
● Must be able to traverse property and facility to diagnose building issues and plan repairs or maintenance
● Must be physically able to perform repairs when needed
● Must be able to lift
● Must have a valid driver’s license
● Must have own hand tools
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $23.00-$25.00 per hour
