Position Summary:

The Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP) is responsible for coordinating and monitoring services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). The QIDP ensures that services are person-centered, compliant with regulatory standards, and designed to support individuals in achieving meaningful outcomes and independence.

This role serves as a liaison between individuals, families, support staff, interdisciplinary teams, and external agencies to ensure quality care and service delivery.

Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and monitor Individual Support Plans (ISPs) in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
Conduct assessments and participate in person-centered planning meetings.
Ensure services are provided in accordance with DC DDS, DDA, Medicaid, and company policies and procedures.
Monitor documentation, service delivery, and program implementation for compliance and quality assurance.
Conduct regular visits to residential homes, day programs, and community settings.
Provide guidance, coaching, and support to Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) and other staff.
Maintain communication with families, guardians, case managers, healthcare professionals, and external stakeholders.
Track individual progress toward goals and recommend modifications when necessary.
Ensure incidents, behavioral concerns, and health/safety issues are properly documented and addressed.
Assist with audits, investigations, and corrective action plans as needed.
Participate in on-call rotation and respond to emergencies when required.
Maintain accurate and timely records, reports, and documentation.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Psychology, Social Work, Special Education, Rehabilitation Counseling, or a related field required.
Minimum of one (1) year experience working directly with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Knowledge of DC DDS/DDA regulations and person-centered practices preferred.
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and electronic documentation systems.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $54,000.00 per year

Benefits:
