Overview
We are seeking a motivated Warehouse Associate to join our team and contribute to our warehouse distribution operations. Responsibilities
- Manage inventory control processes using warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners to ensure accurate stock levels.
- Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load, unload, and move materials efficiently.
- Assist with order fulfillment by picking, packing, and preparing shipments for delivery or storage.
- Handle shipping and receiving tasks by verifying inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring proper documentation, and maintaining accurate records.
- Support warehouse distribution activities including stocking shelves, organizing materials, and maintaining a clean work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Perform heavy lifting and materials handling tasks safely while adhering to mechanical knowledge requirements.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors on inventory management strategies and participate in regular stock audits.
Requirements
- Proven warehouse experience with familiarity in inventory management systems such as AS400 or similar platforms.
- Valid certification or experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols including OSHA regulations.
- Mechanical knowledge related to equipment operation and maintenance is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks involving heavy lifting and extended periods of standing or walking.
- Experience with order picking & packing processes using RF scanners or similar technology.
