Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Must have a safe driving record, as well as up-to-date DOT card
- Must have 1-2 years of experience driving 26’ box trucks in the D.C. area
- Drivers will pick up the truck from the Social Supply warehouse and arrive at the venue 15 minutes prior to the start of the install
- Drivers will assist in unpacking and packing trucks at the install venue
- Drivers are expected to maintain the quality of props & scenic elements upon loading & unloading
- Once onsite, drivers will be installing stage sets and backdrops, moving furniture, and assisting the event installers
- Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs
- Must have flexible availability (evenings and weekends)
- Must have good problem-solving skills
- Must be prompt and on time
- 1-2 years of experience in moving or assembly (preferred)
Social Supply is an event design and production agency that specializes in event decor for social, corporate, political and nonprofit events. We offer anything from stage sets, step + repeats, custom backdrops/signs, signature rentals, art installations, and any other decor or design guidance. Recently, we have also been expanding into retail and interior design projects which we also love working on.
