Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating dry van to deliver goods to various locations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and efficiency while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
Duties
- Safely operate tractor-trailer trucks for the transportation of goods.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
- Plan routes effectively to ensure timely deliveries while minimizing fuel consumption.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours worked and mileage driven.
- Communicate with dispatchers regarding any delays or issues encountered on the road.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding commercial driving.
Skills
- Proven experience as a truck driver with a strong understanding of route driving.
- Proficiency in operating dry van.
- Strong truck driving skills with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL).
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with dispatchers and clients.
- Attention to detail in maintaining logs and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Job Requirements:
CDL-A Truck Driver Requirements:
- Valid CDL-A
- 6 months verifiable CDL A truck driving experience required
- CDLIS+ Clean Driving Record: No major violations in the previous 3 years
- DOT Pre-Employment Drug Test
- Clearinghouse - No Drug and Alcohol Violations in the last 3 years
