Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Order Pickers with RECENT experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately selecting and preparing orders for shipment in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role requires a strong focus on efficiency, accuracy, and safety while working collaboratively with other team members to meet daily production goals.
Responsibilities
- Efficiently pick and pack orders according to established procedures and customer specifications.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as ride on pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and effectively.
- Verify the accuracy of picked items against order lists to ensure quality control.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
- Assist in inventory management by conducting regular stock counts and reporting discrepancies.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily shipping deadlines while adhering to safety protocols.
- Follow all company policies and procedures related to order processing and warehouse operations.
Experience
- Previous/RECENT experience in a warehouse or distribution environment is required.
- Familiarity with order picking processes, building pallets, inventory management systems, or warehouse management software is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy items, stand for extended periods, and navigate the warehouse efficiently.
