Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Bartender/Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender/Server, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages to customers in a friendly and efficient manner. Also delivering exceptional guest experiences by providing outstanding service, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining the highest standards of food safety and quality. Your ability to work efficiently in a nightclub setting while fostering a welcoming atmosphere will be key to your success in this role.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to company recipes
- Interact with customers, take orders, and provide recommendations when needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Check customers' identification to ensure they meet the legal drinking age
- Handle cash transactions and operate the point-of-sale (POS) system -
- Monitor inventory levels and restock bar supplies as needed
Experience
- Previous experience working as a Bartender in a restaurant or similar setting is preferred
- Previous experience working at Karaoke industry is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
- Familiarity with basic math for handling transactions
- Strong customer service skills to provide an excellent guest experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively Nice-to-Have
- Greet and welcome guests promptly upon arrival, ensuring a friendly and inviting atmosphere.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently using the OpenTable system.
- Serve food and drinks to guests while adhering to food safety and handling guidelines.
- Assist with bussing tables, clearing dishes, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the dining area.
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items and specials to enhance guest experience.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
- Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly, providing excellent guest services at all times.
- Support food preparation efforts as needed during busy shifts to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service preferred; experience in a nightclub setting is a plus.
- Familiarity with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and food handling procedures.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail during peak hours.
- A positive attitude with a commitment to helping guests feel valued and appreciated.
- Must be able to stand for long periods and lift items as necessary for service needs.
