Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical/Chiropractic Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support the chiropractic staff in delivering exceptional patient care and ensuring a smooth clinic operation. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, a keen attention to detail, and familiarity with medical documentation and insurance billing processes. Your contributions will be vital in creating a welcoming environment for our patients and assisting them throughout their treatment journey. Spanish bilingual is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist chiropractors during patient examinations and treatments.
- Manage patient scheduling and maintain appointment calendars.
- Conduct documentation review to ensure accuracy and compliance with clinic standards.
- Utilize medical tech software for patient records management.
- Prepare care plans in collaboration with chiropractic staff.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient inquiries and concerns.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinic environment.
- Respond to patient inquiries via phone, email, and in person.
- Manage inventory and supplies.
- Support overall clinic workflow and adapt to changing daily schedules.
- Handle confidential patient information with professionalism and in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Experience
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably within a clinic or hospital environment.
- Proficient in computerized documentation systems; experience with Janeapp is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with patients and staff alike.
- A commitment to providing high-quality care and support to all patients.

The clinic is open on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 8:30 am-6pm and Wednesday 2-6:30 P.M. Candidates who are available all three days or a flexible part-time staff, is highly preferred. Schedule may vary depending on the holiday weekends.
