Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including coffee, cocktails, and non-alcoholic drinks with precision and flair
Take food and drink orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, ensuring smooth transactions
Provide friendly and attentive customer service to create a welcoming atmosphere for all guests
Handle cash and card payments efficiently, maintaining accurate cash handling and cashiering procedures
Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards during food preparation, serving, and beverage crafting
Assist in food handling and basic food preparation tasks to support kitchen operations when needed
Manage time effectively during busy hours to ensure prompt service and high customer satisfaction

Requirements

Previous experience as a barista or in food service or retail math is highly desirable
Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is preferred
Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures
Ability to perform basic math for sales transactions, cash handling, and inventory management
Experience in the food industry or café environment is a plus but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential
