The Puyenpa family of companies are comprised of multiple SBA Certified Native American Tribal 8(a) and multi-certified organizations focused on delivering Information Technology, Management Consulting, and General Construction solutions to the Federal Government along with the Commercial Sector. We are actively seeking Mail Room Support based in Washington D.C. This position is onsite and has a duration of three months with the possibility of being extended. Pre Employment Drug Screen will be Required.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the Puyenpa team supporting our efforts with a transitioning government entity. The main responsibilities of the role include:
- Assist in transporting mail and packages between the Remote Delivery Site (RDS) and the White House Complex for transition.
- Assist in sorting and distributing incoming, screened mail and packages under supervision.
- Prepare outgoing mail and packages for dispatch according to guidelines.
- Assist in the collection of unclassified burn bags, delivering supplies, loading and unloading mail hampers, Government All Purpose Containers, and Presidential transition gifts.
- Maintain simple records.
The qualified candidate will have the following knowledge and experience:
- A minimum of one year of experience in a similar role. Experience in logistics preferred but not required. Ability to communicate effectively, follow written and oral instructions, and ability to lift up to 50lbs repeatedly.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Secret Clearance preferred.
