Tap99 is D.C.’s first fully self-pour taphouse - an innovative drinking and dining experience that allows patrons the freedom to self-pour their drinks in amount of their choice from 99 taps.
We are looking for an ambitious and experienced Taproom Manager to lead our team. This position is for immediate hire for the right candidate.
What You Will Be Doing: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:
- Maintain favorable business relationships with peers, staff, vendors, and other company employees.
- Maximize cost controls through training, monitoring, inventory controls, and correct POS pricing structures.
- Review order history, sales reports, and other relevant pieces of data to monitor profit and loss.
- Collaborate with the ownership team to maintain accurate pricing and inventory.
- Perform regular kitchen and counter checks to ensure overall efficiency of business operations.
- Create and implement strategies for identifying & targeting new customers, as well as improving Tap99’s brand value in the market.
- Work with beer vendors to secure tasting events, beer release launch parties, and tap take overs
- Plan watch parties around all major sports and events. Work with social media marketing manager to effectively promote.
- Respond to guest complaints, taking any and all appropriate actions to promote customer retention. Monitor and maintain favorable online reviews.
- Place all beverage orders and dry goods
- Create FOH labor schedule
Your Qualifications:
Candidate must possess or have ability to immediately possess a valid ABCA card for Washington, D.C.
- 3+ years of previous management experience in the food/restaurant industry required.
- Strong leadership, supervisory, and communication skills.
- Passion and knowledge of the beverage/alcohol industry.
- Proven ability to discern program successes and deficiencies, and to lead thereon.
- Proven ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees and customers.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and general office equipment.
