Overview
Custom Millwork Company in Northern VA. is seeking motivated individuals for a full-time entry-level position. Previous experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or production environment is beneficial but not required. As part of our dedicated team, you will work in a dynamic environment that values craftsmanship and quality. Typical responsibilities will include:

Operating carts, dollies, and other moving equipment
Loading and unloading delivery vehicles
Handling raw material for processing
Forklift operation (we will train)
Assisting cabinetmakers with production tasks

Candidates must be able to lift 75 lbs. unassisted and pass a background check. Excellent punctuality and work habits are a must. Monday – Friday, 7:00 am to 4:00 pm. We offer good pay with benefits. Duties

Operate power tools and hand tools to fabricate millwork products according to specifications.
Assist in the assembly of components for various projects, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
Participate in materials handling, including loading and unloading materials as needed.
Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Follow safety protocols and guidelines while operating machinery and handling materials.
Learn basic machining techniques to contribute effectively to production processes.

Skills

Familiarity with power tools and hand tools used in carpentry and fabrication.
Basic understanding of millwork processes and materials.
Ability to build and assemble components with precision.
Experience with materials handling practices is a plus.
Knowledge of machining techniques is beneficial but not required.
Forklift operation experience is advantageous for material movement within the facility.
