We are seeking a Material Handler II to support our Manufacturing Team. This role is essential to ensuring the right materials are in the right place at the right time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, verify, and store incoming materials and products.
- Pick, stage, and prepare orders or kits based on work orders and customer requirements.
- Deliver materials and supplies to work areas and stage finished products for shipment.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through counting, weighing, and monitoring stock levels.
- Collaborate with the Inventory Control Supervisor to identify shortages and recommend purchases.
- Use FIFO inventory management to maintain stock quality and shelf life.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and organized work environment in line with company standards.
- Cross-train within the Materials Management team to provide coverage during peak periods.
Qualifications:
- Prior stockroom, warehouse, or material handling experience preferred.
- Ability to safely lift, move, and handle materials.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory tasks.
- Basic computer skills for documentation and ERP systems.
Required Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent with a minimum of 1 or more year’s related experience in materials handling, inventory management experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
