Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their dining experience. This role requires excellent communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to manage guest relations effectively. As a Host/Hostess, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all guests feel welcomed and valued.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide them with an inviting atmosphere.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently using Aloha POS or similar systems.
- Communicate wait times accurately to guests and ensure they are comfortable while waiting.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area.
- Handle guest inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally to enhance customer service.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
- Provide assistance to guests as needed, ensuring their needs are met throughout their visit.
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality or food service is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
- Excellent phone etiquette for handling reservations and inquiries.
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
- A positive attitude and willingness to help others in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with restaurant operations, including knowledge of menu items, is a plus.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
