Overview
The Lobby Lounge is seeking highly disciplined and detail-oriented hospitality professionals to join our team. We are building a cocktail program focused on precision, consistency, and the execution of some of the highest-quality cocktails in Washington, DC.
This is not a casual bar environment. Every element of service and cocktail preparation is executed to exact specifications. Candidates must be capable of operating within strict standards and procedures while maintaining professionalism and composure in a fast-paced setting.
We are currently hiring for the following roles:
- Mixologists / Bartenders
- Barbacks
- Servers / Front of House
Core Expectations
All positions are held to the same foundational standards:

- Ability to maintain high performance during busy service periods
Mixologist / Bartender Responsibilities
- Execute cocktails with precise measurements and technique
- Maintain consistency across all drinks served
- Understand classic cocktail structure and balance
- Uphold bar organization, cleanliness, and preparation standards
- Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy and bar readiness
- Work collaboratively with barbacks and FOH staff to maintain service flow
Barback Responsibilities
- Maintain full bar readiness throughout service
- Stock and prepare garnishes, ice, glassware, and bar tools
- Assist bartenders in maintaining speed and organization during service
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards behind the bar
- Support daily prep and closing procedures
Server / Front of House Responsibilities
- Provide attentive and professional guest service
- Accurately communicate menu items and cocktail offerings
- Maintain smooth coordination with the bar team during service
- Uphold high standards of hospitality and presentation
Qualifications
- Prior hospitality experience preferred but not required
- Strong interest in hospitality, cocktails, and service standards
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to structured systems
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Must be dependable and punctual
