Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, engaging with customers, and ensuring a memorable experience for all guests.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Engage with customers, providing recommendations and answering questions about drink selections.
- Monitor customer consumption of alcohol to ensure responsible service.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using Toast POS or similar systems.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels and placing orders as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and handling regulations at all times.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff during busy periods, especially for banquet or catering events.
- Participate in ongoing training to enhance bartending skills, including brewing techniques and fine dining service.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Bartender or in a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of mixology, brewing methods, and beverage trends.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and managing tabs effectively.
- Understanding of food safety practices and food handling regulations.
- Ability to work in high-pressure situations while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with diverse clientele.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
