Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Financial Planning Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidates will support various financial operations, including financial analysis, and customer relationship management. This role requires a solid understanding of financial concepts and the ability to work collaboratively with clients and team members.
Duties
- Utilize Excel to prepare client financial plans
- Update and maintain client files with appropriate documentation with accuracy
- Prepare client portfolio reports
- Provide general administrative support to the Care Program team
- Tracks and documents client transactions including deposits, rollovers and transfers of client accounts
- Reviews trades for accuracy
- Completes client annuity withdrawal paperwork
- Orders prospectus and annual reports
- Monitors client’s statement of intent and manages spreadsheet
- Retitles investment accounts
- Updates client beneficiaries and bank links
- Opens investment accounts
- Completes rollover/transfer paperwork
- Processes investment checks
Requirements
- Communication skills, both written and verbal needed.
- Previous experience in finance or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong mathematical skills desired.
- Proficiency in using computer software tools is highly desirable.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
