Position Summary
The Facilities Support Staff will support all operational facilities functions, including moves, adds, and changes (MAC), event setups, furniture support, and general facilities operations within a Class A+ international corporate headquarters environment. This position works closely with managers, project leaders, and cross‑functional teams to ensure all work orders, event setups, and MAC activities are executed accurately, safely, and on schedule.
Success in this role requires strong customer service, excellent communication skills, task ownership, and the ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced corporate setting.
Key Skills Requested

Daily & Project‑Based Duties
- Execute assigned work orders for Moves, Adds, and Changes (MAC) and Events Team tasks.
- Perform case-good furniture installation, adjustments, and minor repairs.
- Set up furniture for offices, meeting rooms, and event spaces.
- Conduct daily and group staff moves, including delivery of packing materials.
- Complete pre‑move and post‑move inspections and report deficiencies to the Move Coordinator.
- Perform daily floor inspections and weekly safety inspection reports.
- Generate work order tickets and labor utilization reports.
- Pick up and deliver confidential shred bins as requested.
- Install signage, wall placards, mailbox labels, and hard sign inserts.
- Maintain furniture inventory at dock and BOH (Back of House) locations.
- Keep all office, storage, and BOH areas clean and inspection‑ready.
- Deliver and report furniture moves, damages, and issues.
Essential Functions
- Interpret floor plans for furniture setups or event layouts.
- Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to take direction from supervisors and leadership.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
- Complete work tickets, reports, and move requests thoroughly and accurately.
- Provide timely responses to internal and external customer requests.
- Maintain clear communication with the Tenant Services Team.
- Manage personal time effectively and ensure accurate work‑time reporting.
- Stay reachable by phone throughout the workday.
Client & Team Interaction
- Ensure all work orders are complete and accurate before managerial review.
- Attend daily team huddles to discuss workload, open issues, and upcoming projects.
- Understand internal workflow processes and client expectations.
- Escalate issues promptly when needed.
Communication Skills
- Communicate professionally with clients in person and by phone.
- Demonstrate strong customer courtesy and overall service awareness.

- High school diploma, GED, or associate degree.

- Understanding of case‑goods furniture, event setups, signage, and reading architectural drawings.
- Proficiency with common business software (Outlook, Excel, Word).
