Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Server/Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and customer service, with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, maintaining cleanliness at the bar, and ensuring that all guests receive exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain an organized and clean bar area, ensuring all equipment is properly sanitized.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and responding to inquiries.
- Manage cash handling and accurately process transactions using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels and reporting any shortages.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service during busy periods, including banquets and catering events.
- Stay informed about new drink recipes, trends in the food industry, and seasonal offerings to enhance guest experience.
Skills
- Proficiency in Aloha POS or Micros POS systems is preferred.
- Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple orders in a busy environment.
- Excellent sales skills to promote drink specials and upsell menu items effectively.
- Previous fine dining or nightclub experience is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of food safety practices, food handling techniques, and basic math skills for accurate cash handling.
- Experience in the food service industry with a focus on hospitality and customer satisfaction.
- Familiarity with brewing methods and cocktail preparation techniques is a plus.
