Position Overview
The Bottle Service Hostess is a key part of AG’s nightlife and VIP experience. This role combines elegance, energy, and hospitality to ensure that every guest — especially those reserving bottle service or VIP tables — receives an exceptional, seamless, and luxurious experience. The ideal candidate is confident, personable, detail-oriented, and thrives in a high-end, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and seat VIP guests with warmth, professionalism, and a luxury demeanor.
- Manage and organize bottle service reservations, floor charts, and VIP sections.
- Present bottle menus and provide knowledgeable recommendations on premium selections, mixers, and enhancements.
- Coordinate bottle presentations with servers, bartenders, and barbacks for a visually impressive guest experience.
- Maintain a polished and professional image that reflects AG’s upscale brand.
- Build rapport with regular guests and high-profile clientele to encourage repeat visits.
- Ensure bottle service areas remain clean, organized, and stocked at all times.
- Accurately process payments and handle POS transactions for bottle service and lounge tabs.
- Support event activations, themed nights, and private bookings as directed by management.
- Monitor guest conduct to ensure a safe, positive environment in compliance with lounge policies and DC regulations.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in bottle service, VIP hosting, or upscale hospitality.
- Strong knowledge of premium spirits, champagne, and cocktail mixers.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and multitasking skills.
- Professional appearance, confident personality, and graceful presence.
- Ability to thrive under pressure in a lively nightlife setting.
- Must be 21 years or older and hold a valid DC Alcohol Server Certification.
- Availability to work late nights, weekends, and holidays.
