Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food and beverage industry, excellent customer service skills, and experience working in fast-paced environments such as fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet settings. This role involves preparing and serving drinks, engaging with guests, and ensuring a memorable experience for all patrons. Candidates should be familiar with POS systems like Toast and Micros POS, possess strong time management abilities, and demonstrate a thorough understanding of food safety and responsible alcohol service. Previous experience in food handling, catering, or retail math is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with established recipes and standards
- Engage with guests to create a welcoming atmosphere, providing exceptional customer service
- Manage cash handling and POS transactions accurately using systems such as Toast POS or Micros POS
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety regulations
- Monitor guest consumption to promote responsible drinking practices
- Restock bar supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts
- Assist with setup and breakdown for events including banquets, catering functions, or nightclub activities
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to ensure seamless service delivery during busy hours
Requirements
- Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining, nightclubs, banquet settings, or similar environments
- Familiarity with POS Systems
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service regulations
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar stations efficiently
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, sales tracking, and inventory management
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Previous experience with serving, food handling, catering, or retail math is advantageous
- Must be at least 21 years old (where applicable by law) and able to work nights, weekends, or holidays as needed
