PAY
- $70 – $125 per route
- Most drivers earn $160 – $200+ on days with two routes
- 50/50 split on overages
- Company vehicle provided; gas covered during active routes
- This is an independent contractor role; no hourly guarantees or employee benefits.
Route pay varies based on number of stops, distance, time windows, and material volume.
Hourly earnings vary based on route efficiency; this is a route-based position, not hourly pay.
SCHEDULE OPTIONS
- Part-time shifts available:
- 6:00 AM – 12:00 PM
- 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM
- Additional routes may be available outside these hours for drivers who want more work
- Full-time and extended-hour schedules available based on route volume and driver reliability
- Typical workload ranges from 2–5 routes per week, with more available for reliable drivers.
Some locations have time restrictions, but routes are planned around them.
Drivers who want additional work may have access to extra routes, extended hours, or stacked route days.
ABOUT THE WORK
This position involves commingle recycling pickups (mixed recycling materials) from commercial locations.
Most stops are quick and light, but some routes may include heavier or messier stops.
This role is best for drivers who are comfortable with physical, hands-on work and working independently without constant oversight.
Routes are designed for efficiency; organized drivers finish faster and earn more.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive a company vehicle on assigned routes
- Collect commingle recycling from commercial dumpsters
- Take required before & after photos at each stop
- Deliver materials to the designated recycling facility
- Communicate with dispatch during routes
- Follow route instructions and time windows
REQUIREMENTS
- Must be 21 years or older
- Valid driver’s license (clean record preferred)
- Reliable transportation to the company vehicle location (Laurel, MD)
- Smartphone with GPS, camera, and data
- Ability to lift and handle recycling materials
- Punctual, dependable, and able to work independently
- Must live within reasonable driving distance of Laurel, MD
- Must be able to consistently complete assigned routes without supervision
IMPORTANT
This is not a sit-down job.
