Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and dynamic Service Bartender with Leadership Responsibilities to join our vibrant hospitality team. Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation
- Lead by example in delivering outstanding customer service, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times
- Manage the bar area and cafe' during shifts alongside additional Leads, overseeing cleanliness, organization, and adherence to food safety and alcohol regulations
- Assist in training new staff members on POS systems such as Toast POS, along with proper serving techniques and safety protocols
- Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems, including cash handling, cashiering, and basic math calculations
- Support the team during busy periods by managing multiple tables or bar stations efficiently through excellent time management skills
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, including specialty drinks, wine selections, and food offerings to upsell effectively
- Enforce responsible alcohol service policies and ensure compliance with all licensing laws
- Collaborate with management on shift responsibilities such as inventory control, ordering supplies, and implementing operational procedures
- Foster a positive team environment by motivating colleagues and assisting in leadership responsibilities during shifts
Experience
- Proven experience as a bartender in a fast-paced environment s
- Demonstrated leadership skills with previous supervisory or team lead roles in food service or hospitality settings
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
- Familiarity with food safety standards, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service practices
- Experience working in diverse environments such as catering events or retail food industry settings is advantageous
- Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume periods while maintaining attention to detail in beverage preparation and service
- Management duties, customer mitigation, refunds, voids, team training & cash reconciliation
