This position will understand how to organize and manage recreation rentals and programs, daily reconciliation, operate as a front desk and manager on duty. The position will provide exceptional customer service and foster a happy and engaged environment. What You Should Bring Each member of our team is accountable for the outstanding delivery of services to the community. You will work to meet the needs of our community. To succeed as a Recreation Leader III, you should be upbeat, decisive, and responsible while giving participants a fun, clean, and organized experience. You should also be organized and possess strong leadership and computer skills. You will have the support of and work under the direction of the Recreation Leader IV, Coordinator and/or Recreation Manager II. The hours will vary: Tuesday-Thursday between 7am-9pm and on Saturday and Sunday from 8:30am- 1:30pm with primarily working Saturday and Sunday as well as two week days. Key Duties: Assist with registration, data management, and recordkeeping Assist with the administration and clerical needs of the programs offered Rental reviews, processing and coordinator Work closely with Manager on Duty and Head Guards to ensure timely rental transitions Use good judgement in all grievances and notify management of problems. Handles customer questions, concerns, and complaints in person, email, and/or over telephone Learn and utilize RecTrac Organize, respond to, and input rental requestsKeep log of rental request and paymentsRun and update rental/reservation participant head count Physically assist customers with locating rentals and parties Supports the Recreation leader IV/ Recreation ManagerAttend all staff trainings and staff meetings Effectively communicate with supervisors, staff, and customers Function effectively as a team member, and Manager on Duty Must be able to move, lift, and assemble table and chairs and set up classroom rentals and partiesPerforms related work as requiredCustomer service focusedFunction as a Front Desk and or Manager on DutyShift lead when the operation calls for itIn charge of daily and weekly reconciliationIn charge of invoicing rentalsFront desk supervision when neededOversees and execution of credits and refunds for classes and rentalsAbout YouYou are service-minded, dependable, and take pride in your work. EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
High School Diploma and three (3) years of related experience or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. First Aid training.
