Office and Marketing Assistant

Bohotina LLC • Part-time • Towson, MD, US • $16 - $22 / hour • 1d ago

YOUCANIC is a small automotive repair company in Towson, Maryland. Our repair guides and videos reach millions of car owners every year, and we sell diagnostic tools and repair services nationwide.

We are a focused team in a calm office. We are looking for a dependable person who likes steady, organized work and takes pride in doing it well. Most of the communication in this role is written: customer emails, support tickets, and messages to content creators. You will have a clear weekly list of responsibilities, and room to grow into more as you learn the business.

What you will do

Social media: cut short clips from our existing video library, write captions, and post on a set schedule across YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.

Creator outreach: find automotive content creators, send messages, follow up, and keep track of every conversation.

Reporting: keep simple weekly notes on what you posted, who replied, and what got results. If you notice something that could work better, tell us.

Customer support: answer customer emails and support tickets, help track orders, and cover the support queue when our operations coordinator is out.

Office support: help with shipping, organize files, keep records up to date, and handle the tasks that keep a small business running.

Who we are looking for

You are reliable. You show up on time and do what you said you would do.
You are careful. You notice details and double check your work.
You write clearly, whether it is a customer email or a short caption.
You like learning new tools and skills on your own.
You prefer focused work over constant meetings and phone calls.
You can work in our Towson office.

Nice to have, not required

Interest in cars, repair, or tools.

No marketing degree or prior experience is needed. We care more about dependability and good judgment than a résumé. One small request: please begin each of your answers with a + symbol. It helps us see who read all the way to the end.
