Overview for the Chief Operations Assistant
An Internal medicine practice with multiple office,several Physicians and Physician Assistants is seeking a highly organized and proactive Chief Operations Assistant to provide comprehensive administrative support to their Chief Operating Officer. Schedule: 20 hour work week, flexible daytime hours Monday - Friday.

The ideal candidate will be adept at managing multiple tasks, maintaining schedules, and ensuring smooth operations within the office. This role requires exceptional communication skills and a strong ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities of the Chief Operations Assistant

Bookkeeping Assistant using QuickBooks Online
Payroll Assistant including timekeeping
Human resources including new hire onboarding and benefits enrollment
Maintaining monthly Provider scheduling
Support Provider licensing and credentialing
Provide administrative support to COO

Qualifications for the Chief Operations Assistant

Medical practice management experience
Proven experience in an executive administrative support role or similar position.
Proficiency in calendar management
Excellent computer literacy with the ability to quickly learn new software applications.
Familiarity with QuickBooks is a plus but not mandatory.
Exceptional organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, demonstrating professionalism in all interactions.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making capabilities.
