Live.Balanced.Life.LLC is a thriving psychotherapy office in Clarksville, Maryland (near Columbia). Our mission is to become one of the top go-to trauma providers in the DMV. Currently we are seeking a FT employee to manage our front desk. Our ideal candidate may be retired or semi-retired, someone changing careers, or someone who is passionate about healthcare administration and whose career goal is to run a healthcare practice/clinic. The ideal candidate needs to have some flexibility. We do not offer benefits currently, but we are working towards this in the next 6 months. This is an opportunity to grow with the company, especially if you are a new graduate/or changing careers with a goal to becoming an Office Manager. Education and Experience
- Minimum of High School diploma/some college.
- Asc/BA in Healthcare Administration is a plus.
- 2-3 years' experience working in a professional, medical, or mental health office environment with direct customer service.
- Social media experience a plus.

- Must possess excellent organizational skills.
- Needs to have attention to detail, be able to multitask and perform job duties in a timely manner.

Pay Scale
$20-25/per hour
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist patients upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Schedule appointments and manage the front desk operations efficiently.
- Maintain accurate medical records and handle patient inquiries with professionalism.
- Utilize Microsoft Office and EHR systems for data entry and management.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
- Collaborate with medical staff to streamline office processes and enhance patient service.
- Scheduling patients in our electronic medical record.
- Answering phone calls.
- Uploading new patient's paperwork and information into the electronic medical record.
- Completing statistics and metrics.
- Maintaining a clean work environment (cleaning therapy equipment, stocking and organizing materials, wiping down mat tables).
- Aiding therapists as needed with patient needs such as guarding for patient safety and assisting with physical lifts to help transfer patients on and off equipment.
- Health insurance verification and treatment authorizations.
- Collect patient co-payments and co-insurance payments.
- Experience with Google Docs and Google sheets.
- Experience working with people with physical and mental disabilities or the desire to work with this population.
Job Types: Contract, Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
