Accanto is a new, independent Italian restaurant opening soon, and we’re building a small, skilled kitchen team that cares about craft, consistency, and a warm, human workplace. Here's your chance to work a wood-burning Pavesi oven! We’re looking for a pizzaiolo who takes pride in the work — someone who can read dough, manage heat, and stay calm when the tickets hit. Just 5 dinner services a week with Sunday & Monday off!
What you’ll do:
Hand-stretch and bake consistently excellent pizzas
Manage dough production and fermentation schedule
Maintain oven temps and pace service smoothly
Work clean, stay organized, and communicate with the line
Support prep when needed — we’re a team-first kitchen
What we’re looking for:
Experience with high-heat pizza (wood, gas, or hybrid)
Strong dough-handling and fermentation knowledge
Ability to lift 50+ pounds & manage wood splitting and stacking
Clean, efficient, and quality-driven work style
Comfortable in an open, collaborative kitchen
Reliable, professional, and ready for a busy opening environment
