Job Summary
We are seeking dependable and detail-oriented Onsite Culinary Assistants to support food preparation, execution, and breakdown during catered events, weddings, corporate functions, and private gatherings. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on culinary work, thrive in fast-paced environments and take pride in supporting a polished guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation, plating, and event service execution
- Support chefs with setup and breakdown of event kitchen stations
- Maintain cleanliness of prep areas, equipment, and storage
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards
- Assist with loading and unloading culinary equipment and supplies
- Communicate with culinary and service teams to ensure seamless delivery
Qualifications
- Prior catering kitchen experience required
- Prior restaurant kitchen experience preferred.
- Basic knowledge of food prep and kitchen safety
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs
- Professional, dependable and team-oriented
Requirements
- Available for nights, weekends, and holiday events
- Reliable transportation to event locations
- Food Handler’s Certification preferred or willingness to obtain
