Treatment Foster Care Social Worker

Location: Baltimore and surrounding counties
Annual Salary: $60-$66,000
Schedule: Monday - Friday days (flexibility required for early evenings)
Caseload: 8-10 families
Mileage Reimbursement
Licensure: LBSW/LMSW

Responsibilities:

Provide foster care case management and treatment to a caseload of 8-10 youth
Assess referred clients and leads development of service plan in conjunction with treatment team and funding sources in accordance with corporate, contractual, and regulatory standards
Provide critical clinical support to children with complex trauma histories and treatment foster care families.
Facilitate placement of children in foster homes and participate in assessments, service delivery, discharge, and aftercare planning.
Utilize evidence-based practices to treat difficult to place foster children with high intensity needs.
Maintain regular contact with the foster family and child, and monitor psychological, mental, emotional, physical, and environmental well-being through phone contacts, email, and home visits.

Requirements:

Master's Degree in Social Work
LBSW/LMSW Licensure in Maryland
Experience working with children and families
