Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and personable Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in food and beverage service, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. This role involves mixing drinks, serving customers, and ensuring a memorable experience in a lively environment. Prior experience in fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet settings is a plus. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using various POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner to enhance their experience
- Manage multiple tables or bar stations during busy hours while maintaining quality service
- Ensure all drinks are prepared according to safety standards, food safety protocols, and company policies
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts
- Uphold responsible alcohol service practices and monitor guest consumption for safety
- Assist with catering events or banquets when required, providing excellent food service in various settings
Skills
- Proven experience with POS systems such as Toast POS
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Experience working in fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet environments is preferred
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math understanding, and accurate order processing
- Ability to serve alcohol responsibly while adhering to legal requirements
- Familiarity with hospitality concepts including catering, brewing, food industry standards, and food service operations
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members
