- Greet customers warmly, taking orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, and providing friendly service throughout their visit
- Prepare and serve food items efficiently, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards to ensure quality and cleanliness
- Manage cash handling duties with precision, including cashiering, processing payments, and giving correct change
- Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance sales and improve customer satisfaction
- Support food preparation tasks such as assembling orders, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas and kitchen spaces
- Assist with food safety protocols, including proper food handling, sanitation practices, and adhering to health regulations
- Collaborate with team members to ensure quick service delivery in a fast food or quick service restaurant setting
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key!
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with guests
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and order calculations
- Knowledge of POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a busy setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Familiarity with food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
- Experience with cashiering, serving, bussing tables, or working in a café or grocery store environment is advantageous
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and work flexible hours in a lively environment
