At Greenhill Vineyards, we believe the most valuable resource in maintaining our excellence, begins with our staff. We are currently seeking a highly motivated and energetic individual to join our team as a Tasting Associate.
Qualified candidates must have a passion for wine, possess outstanding customer service skills, and the willingness to be a member of a dynamic working environment. Previous wine knowledge is not necessary, but working hard and positive, is. Must be able to multi-task, be a team player, and able to work at least 4 weekend days a month. Full time hours could be available.

What we expect from you:
- Provide an exceptional and memorable wine experience for each guest by understanding and confidently articulating Greenhill’s portfolio of wines
- Ensure consistent standards of presentation at every point in the guest experience
- Engage with each customer to identify and tailor the experience to their interests
- Effectively communicate with a professional and welcoming manner
- Promote Wine Club Memberships
- Prepare the tasting room for opening and closing
- Represent winery at offsite functions as needed
- Operate POS system and maintain accuracy in all transactions
- Sales-oriented team player
- Open, honest and friendly with colleagues, customers, peers and managers
- Positive, adaptable, flexible
- Wine knowledge and sales experience in a winery environment preferred
- Passion for wine and food required
- Cleaning, glass washing/polishing, inventory stocking, and other tasks as needed
- Busing tables, trash collection
- Flexible schedule with the ability to work weekends, some holidays and evenings
- Assist with special events as needed
- Physical requirements: able to lift 50 lbs., be over 21 years old, able to stand and walk for long periods of time (up to 6+ hours at a time)
Salary: $25+ per hour (includes Tips & Club Commissions)
