You must have:

-45 hr Director's Training

-90 hr (includes 45 hrs Infant/Toddler and 45 hr Preschool )

-ADA

-Basic Health & Safety

-9 hr communication course or college course

-At least 3 yrs experience as a Lead Teacher

-At least 3 yrs experience as a Director or Asst Director

-A letter from your former center confirming your year experience

You must know how to:

-Build a TEAM

-Communicate with parents and staff effectively

-Enforce policies and procedures

-Follow through on assignments given

-Oversee Staff

-Report to work on time

-Demonstrate best practices in early childhood

We are looking to build a team with teachers who love children, exhibits good work ethics and understands professionalism.

Duties:
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for preschool children
- Provide physical education opportunities to enhance gross motor skills and coordination
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children and staff in the daycare setting
- Foster a positive and nurturing environment for learning and growth
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to plan and coordinate daily activities and special events
- Monitor and assess the progress of each child, providing individualized attention and support as needed
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding their child's development and progress -Foster engagement with families and community

Qualifications:
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in early childhood education preferred
- Previous experience working with young children in a daycare or preschool setting
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans and activities that promote learning through play
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with young children

Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
