Job Description:

The Administrative Assistant I provides administrative support to the ACPS Safety and Security Services Division ; managing the divisions procurement process by getting quotes, submitting requisitions, and processing invoices; assisting with the management of the key card access program; establishing and maintaining records; compiling and distributing materials and reports; and responding to inquiries from a variety of internal and external sources. This is a Casual position, based out of ACPS Central Office.

Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience: Job related experience within specialized field with increasing levels of responsibility required. 2 years perferred.

Licenses & Certifications: None Required

Essential Functions:

Coordinates schedules, meetings and activities for the purpose of supporting division staff with operational activities.
Maintains a wide variety of files and records (manual/computer; confidential/non-confidential) for the purpose of providing documentation in accordance with administrative and legal requirements.
Monitors assigned division activities and/or program components (e.g. travel arrangements and reimbursements, meetings and events, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring that goals are achieved, target dates are met and financial, legal and/or administrative requirements are satisfied. Supports assigned division personnel for the purpose of providing assistance with administrative functions.
