Annapolis Yacht Club, a nationally recognized Platinum Club located in the heart of Downtown Annapolis, is looking for courteous and professional banquet servers and bartenders.
The banquet server position will help assist with greeting, assisting, and serving guests at special functions and events. In addition, banquet servers will be responsible for preparation and clean up, serving guests and responding to questions, complaints, and requests.
The Banquet Bartender position is responsible for providing professional, friendly beverage service at private events and banquets. This role includes preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, setting up and breaking down bar areas, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and ensuring responsible alcohol service while delivering an excellent guest experience.
To be a successful banquet server or bartender with the Annapolis Yacht Club, you should possess excellent customer service and communication skills. You should always be professional, polite to guests, and an efficient server.
Experience:
- A minimum of 1 year of serving or bartending experience required
- Service experience in a fine dining atmosphere preferred
Requirements:
· Ability to read and comprehend Banquet Event Order (BEO) pages
· Excellent communication and customer service skills
· Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift heavy objects
· Work efficiently and with an attention to detail and accuracy
· Must be able to work well and effectively with other team members and have a positive energetic attitude
· Ability to set up, execute, and reset events based on each event’s BEO page
· Flexible work schedule
