We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Server to join our vibrant food and beverage team. As a Server, you will be the face of our establishment, delivering exceptional guest experiences through attentive service, expert food and beverage knowledge, and a warm, welcoming attitude. Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clarity and efficiency
- Recommend menu items and upsell specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation
- Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including cashiering and processing payments via POS systems like OpenTable or other platforms
- Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to uphold sanitation standards
- Foster positive guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring a memorable experience
Skills
- Proven experience with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Strong culinary knowledge and experience in food handling, preparation, and service in fine dining or upscale environments
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining genuine guest engagement
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices within the food industry
- Previous host/hostess or serving experience in hospitality or nightclub settings preferred
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and transaction processing
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
- Familiarity with reservation platforms like OpenTable for managing bookings smoothly
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment
