Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and exceptional customer service skills, ensuring that guests have an enjoyable experience. This role requires proficiency in various POS systems, including Aloha and Micros, as well as a strong understanding of food safety and handling practices. The Bartender will be responsible for crafting beverages, managing inventory, and providing top-notch service in both fine dining and nightclub settings.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes or customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Manage cash handling processes, including processing payments accurately through POS systems.
- Engage with customers to provide exceptional service, taking orders, answering questions, and making recommendations.
- Monitor inventory levels of liquor, beer, wine, and supplies; assist in ordering stock as needed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during banquets and catering events.
- Uphold the highest standards of food safety and hygiene throughout all aspects of bartending.
- Utilize time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience in bartending or food service within a restaurant or nightclub setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or Micros POS systems is highly desirable.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with guests.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and sales transactions are essential.
- Knowledge of brewing techniques and cocktail preparation is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as required by the business needs.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment.
