Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher/Food Prep team member to support our busy kitchen operations. This role is essential in maintaining cleanliness, ensuring food safety, and assisting with food preparation to deliver a seamless dining experience. Responsibilities
- Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment thoroughly to maintain cleanliness standards
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning items
- Support kitchen staff with bussing tables and clearing plates during service
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and dining areas by following sanitation protocols
- Handle food safely and ensure proper storage of ingredients and leftovers
- Assist in setting up catering events or banquet functions as needed
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
Skills
- Experience in food handling, cleaning, and basic food preparation is preferred
- Knowledge of restaurant or hospitality operations, including catering or banquet experience is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Basic cooking skills and familiarity with kitchen equipment are advantageous
- Previous experience in hospitality, hotel service, or culinary roles is beneficial but not required
