Sedona Taphouse is an upscale, full-service restaurant known for scratch-made food, hundreds of craft beers, an extensive wine list, and handcrafted cocktails. We are currently interviewing for an experienced, dynamic Restaurant General Manager to lead our Fredericksburg, VA location.
The General Manager is responsible for the complete operation of the restaurant and must be highly experienced in both Front of House and Back of House operations. This role leads and develops Department Head Managers while ensuring exceptional service, elevated food and beverage execution, and strong financial performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, including service, craft bar, and scratch kitchen execution
- Hire, train, mentor, and develop management and hourly team members
- Manage scheduling, labor, and P&L cost centers
- Maintain high standards of hospitality, cleanliness, and food safety
- Drive performance through coaching, accountability, and leadership
- Build strong community relationships and represent Sedona Taphouse publicly
- Deliver a polished-casual, elevated guest experience at all times
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of General Manager experience in a high-volume, upscale restaurant environment
- Strong knowledge of FOH and BOH operations
- Proven leadership, financial acumen, and team-development skills
- Energetic, positive, and detail-driven with exceptionally high standards
