Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Sous Chef for seasonal New American restaurant Locavore and rooftop bar Folklore. This role will be working hand in hand with the chef-owner and training all BOH staff, developing SOPs and helping lay down the foundation for it's success. Some requirements for the position are below.

-Minimum 2 years sous chef experience at upscale independent restaurants.
-Solid food knowledge.
-Good knife skills
-From scratch kitchen experience required. Ability to butcher meats + fish, soups, stocks, sauces.
-Self starter and self motivated.
-Proactive management style.
-Ability to prioritize tasks and get them done in timely manner.
-Restaurant opening experience at any level preferred
-Works clean and organized
-Has a good palette.
