Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly manner, ensuring they feel welcome.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the cash register or point-of-sale system.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring proper presentation.
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations by following proper food handling procedures.
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items to enhance the dining experience.
- Sanitate dining areas, utensils, and equipment regularly to maintain hygiene standards.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction.
- Ability to handle cash transactions efficiently, including cash handling and operating a cash register.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
- Experience in food preparation or familiarity with menu items is a plus.
